System Features
Secure, Multi-Channel Communications
ReddiNet® integrates dedicated computers linked by digital
packet radio with PCs and wireless devices communicating
over the Internet. It combines the flexibility and extensibility
of web-based communications with the security and stability
of an alternate communications channel that is not dependent
upon hospital phone systems, phone lines and internet
service providers, and that is not vulnerable to computer
viruses, worms or hackers.
Turnkey Solution
ReddiNet is a turnkey solution that integrates standard
computers running the familiar Windows operating system
with advanced software that has been customized to meet
your community's unique emergency healthcare needs, infrastructure
and policies.
The system is delivered fully set-up, tested and ready
for community-wide service. Each participating facility
is supplied with a dedicated PC that can only be used
for transmitting and receiving critical healthcare data
through the ReddiNet system. ReddiNet's information
network can be extended to additional authorized participants
who can log in via the Internet.

No-nonsense User Interface
The ReddiNet user interface has been developed and
refined with direct input from hospital and EMS professionals
who use the system every day. Its simple, no-nonsense,
easy-to-read screens meet the needs of hospital emergency
staff who cannot afford to be distracted by extraneous
graphics and animation.
When staff attention is required to respond to a system-wide
poll, an audible alarm produces a clear and recognizable
signal. Unlike competing products that rely upon off-the-shelf
computers connected to the Internet, the ReddiNet application
cannot be "clicked away" by staff members who
want to use the Internet for shopping or sending e-mail. Global User
All ReddiNet systems include a feature that allows
system participants view-only access to the data of other
ReddiNet systems. This can be especially useful to facilities
in close proximity to adjacent ReddiNet regions. Global
User access must be pre-approved by the ReddiNet area
authority for each participating region. Global Users
can also gather diversion data to do benchmarking; certain
agencies can exchange information during an event; and
corporate offices can view their hospitals statewide
and run reports.
Data Exchange
ReddiNet data is stored in a standard SQL database.
It can easily be transformed for interchange with other
systems.
Printable Reports

ReddiNet compiles a wealth of data that can be useful
for retrospective analysis and system-wide
improvement. Standard printable reports include:
- Diversion
History Report
- Assessment History Report
- MCI Report
- Bed Availability Report
- Bed Census Report
Additional reports can be customized
for your region.
