Basics of ReddiNet Technology

Image of Technology

ReddiNet Emergency Communications incorporates the latest technology to keep you and your team connected to the critical information you need to assess and deploy resources in a disaster. Industry-leading data centers, fail-safe backup systems, and a variety of alerts are just a few of the tools that make ReddiNet one of the leading choices for first responders.

Data Centers

ReddiNet operates from two industry-leading AT&T data centers in different time zones. These centers harness all of the latest industry standards including redundancy in bandwidth and power, fire suppression systems, cooling, and controlled access security.

Backup Monitoring System

ReddiNet monitors all parts of our web delivery system through active, failover, and backup monitoring systems.  On-site personnel are available around the clock to assist with any physical work that needs to be performed  to ensure the network is operating at full capacity.

Satellite Services

Our affordable enterprise satellite solution operates on Hughes Spaceway 3 technology over the Ka-band.  The supporting satellite hardware is designed to self-adjust to adverse conditions automatically.  Operational conditions outside the norm are automatically detected and notifications are sent to trained service personnel who are available 24 hours a day.

Alerts

An audible alert and a visual strobe alert light can be conveniently placed in hallways and corridors to help alert staff to key incidents and information delivered from state and local emergency medical personnel and nearby health providers.

HEAR Radio

Our Hospital Emergency Administrative Radio (HEAR) system operates on an approved FCC emergency communication channel and has been a key component of emergency communications between hospitals, air transport, and emergency medical agencies since the 1970s.
