Our secure messaging operates like your typical e-mail system—you can cut and paste information; send messages to individual hospitals, agencies, LTCs or other organizations; and create customized message groups.
Here are just some of the ways organizations like yours use ReddiNet’s flexible messaging system:
- EMS agencies incorporate communications into their regional disaster preparedness drills.
- Law enforcement officials alert hospital emergency departments about fugitives and missing persons.
- Hospital pharmacies quickly locate and secure medications that are in short supply.
- Field commanders notify health care facilities about the status of multiple casualty incidents and their likely impact on emergency and trauma facilities.
- Public health agencies forward bulletins from the CDC to emergency medical staff and infection control departments.
- First responders access critical inter-facility communication when hospital phone systems go down or hospital infrastructure is damaged.
Bed Capacity Module
To aid in daily discharge planning and evacuations, our Bed Capacity module enables an at-a-glance view of a facility’s ability to accept patient transfers. The screen contains data fields for:
- Hospital patient census
- HAvBED reporting
- Daily bed availability
- Long-term care facility patient census and bed availability
Data entry is easy and quick for hospital and long-term care staff needing to report their numbers efficiently.
Data Exchange Module
ReddiNet can accommodate an interface with any other emergency system or product. Electronic patient care records can come through ReddiNet with an audible alert and a link to access the record on through your chosen vendor’s software. We interface with fire department CAD systems to extract and stream relevant information to paramedics in rigs. ReddiNet interfaces with event management systems capturing bed data, inventories and ED status to avoid data duplication and ensure accurate reporting. ReddiNet reduces the confusion you may face with having to manage multiple systems. You can have your “dashboard” of tools at your finger tips while connected to our satellite service for extra reliability.
