A prison for youth erupted in a riot. Many prisoners were injured and coordination among local hospitals was needed to distribute patients according to treatment need.

Logged in to the Mass/Multiple Casualty Incident Module, hospitals were able to use the patient locator feature to enter all of the patient destinations on one screen. As patients were transported to responding hospitals based on the level of available treatment, officials at the prison were quickly and easily provided patient destinations from the locator and assigned staff to guard them at each facility.
